Newly Launched PA Site and Reduction in Student Fees
Applying for membership in the Parapsychological Association has just gotten easier with their recently launched members-only site. Interested individuals can now apply online for student, affiliate, associate, or full member status. Membership benefits now include online access to their Club Express site, which includes a membership directory, PA newsletters, discussion forums, and convention proceedings, as well as an electronic library of selected articles. PA members and affiliates also enjoy substantial discounts on registration for the annual convention, subscriptions to the Journal of Parapsychology, and subscription access to the Library of Exploratory Science.
Additionally, the PA has announced a reduction in the annual Student Affiliate membership fee from $50.00 per year to $25.00 (USD) per year. They have also created a discussion forum dedicated to students at their members-only site. This one-of-a-kind discussion area provides a place for PA student affiliates to network and discuss psi-related issues and questions. To become a student affiliate of the PA and participate in the student discussion forums, you must have an interest in the scientific and scholarly advancement of parapsychology and be attending an accredited college or university.
