I have been having OBE's for more than 30
years.I feel that i am the only one out there. I have made some new discoveries over the past two years and have come to the conclusion that it's all in the brain.I discovered that these OBE's are influenced by either a fan or the AC unit in my building.Call me what you will but I can prove this because even Monroe's hemisink is electrical and I do not believe that half of the people claiming to have had these occur are actual true cases.Through my experience anyone claiming to have OBE's isn't being truthful.
It's not that I'm any better or worse than any of them,I challenge anyone and everyone to prove to me that they experience the same things I do which occur at least two-three times a week.

Reply to OBEs

just to say that it is 'all in the brain' doesn't explain anything. What does this mean? If your OBEs have predictable physical causes then so much the better for studying them, but it does not necessarily imply that you or anyone else is not having an OBE. This is because the OBE is an 'Experience' and currently whether conscious experiences are actually 'created' by the brain is still a matter of debate.

I think what you mean to say is that the consciousness (whatever that is) is not actually going 'out of the body'. But this is still debatable because even if OBEs have physical causes or correlates (like NDEs) it does not mean that the consciousness doesn't leave the body, merely that Mind and Brain correlate. Mind = Brain necessarily!

All metaphysical phenomena (ALL) are characteristics, traits, abilities or experiences of our spiritual nature, emanating from our souls.

The reasons we are so befuddled by the variety of spiritual phenomena is because religions, primarily Christianity, especially the Roman Catholic Church, banned every single one of our spiritual abilities and traits as "heretical,’ “demonic,” or “no longer occurring.”

I've just completed a trilogy of books jointly entitled Awakening The Soul explaining the history behind this suppression.

Book One: Proof of Spiritual Nature presents more than 75 differing examples of our spiritual nature, and explains 10 of them in depth.

Book Two: Our Suppressed Spiritual Nature reveals why we lost awareness of our spiritual nature, primarily through religious suppression for the last 2000 years.

Book Three: Restoring Our Spiritual Nature is a primarily channeled text providing exercises to restore our spiritual nature. It includes startling directions on how to reprogram the ego, and assign the Soul to be in charge of all our daily activities. It has been called “The key to the 12th Step” of AA and other addiction programs because it provides the necessary spiritual awakening.

Awakening The Soul: The Trilogy will soon be available from Koboca Publishing, presenting all three volumes in one.

Questions are welcome!

Available on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc., just plug in Bill Missett and Awakening The Soul. Thanks!

The Science and Medical Network publishes a quarterly journal and often has articles of interest to those concerned with parapsychology. Dreamtime, the in-house journal of the International Associatino for the Study of Dreams also often has similar articles.

I’ve been fascinated with understanding possession for quite a while. I don’t know if everyone has seen the show the Ghost Whisperer, but there is an episode this friday that’s all about possession.
